Oronasal masks are often the first-line strategy in the initial management of acute respiratory failure as they cover nose and mouth.

Nasal masks are often chosen if NIV therapy has to be prolonged due to improved comfort and reduced complications associated with oronasal masks. Similar to ClassicStar® oronasal masks, the nasal mask cushion can be individually adjusted to the patient’s face providing high patient comfort and effective seal. The 4-point-headgear ensures a stable and secure fixation reducing mask displacement.

All ClassicStar® NIV nasal masks are for single patient use.

Sizing gauges for easy mask size identification as well as a pumpball are delivered together with the masks.
